Complaints Procedure

The staff at drs. Daans always strive to provide you with excellent care and assistance. However, we understand that there may be instances where you are not completely satisfied with a treatment.

We value your feedback and complaints as they are essential for us to ensure your complete satisfaction and to improve our services.

Where can you address your complaints or comments?

Directly to drs. Daans:

If you are not entirely satisfied with a treatment, we encourage you not to delay in expressing your concerns. Often, complaints stem from miscommunication or differing expectations. We appreciate it when you reach out to the individual who provided the treatment, giving them the opportunity to address your concerns. Experience has shown that many complaints can be resolved in this manner.

To the Complaints Officer:

If you find that you cannot resolve the issue with your healthcare provider, you have the option of bringing your complaint to the attention of the Complaints Officer. The Complaints Officer is an impartial professional mediator, available at no cost to you, who can assist you and your healthcare provider in finding a resolution. We aim to resolve complaints within 6 weeks of submission. To contact the Complaints Officer, please visit GIDZ (https://geschillenindezorg.nl/).

In summary:

  • Complaint mediation, handling, and assistance from the Complaints Officer are provided free of charge to you as a client and/or patient.
  • Successful mediation occurs only when both parties agree.
  • Mutual respect and trust are fundamental to the mediation process.
  • All parties involved in mediation are bound by confidentiality and handle your privacy with the utmost care.
